Raipur. A clean kitchen is not just a convenience, but a symbol of healthy living and a respectable lifestyle. Ujjwala Yojana 3.0, launched to provide relief to women struggling with the smoke of traditional stoves, is today bringing positive changes in the lives of poor and rural families. Through this scheme, women are getting the benefits of freedom from smoke, better health and a safe kitchen.
Under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana 3.0, 1,339 new gas connections have been provided to eligible beneficiaries in Kabirdham district. These connections have brought the greatest relief to families who were previously forced to cook with wood, cow dung cakes, or coal. With gas connections, women have been freed from smoke, making cooking easier and safer. This scheme, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, aims to provide clean fuel to women from poor families. The scheme not only protects their health but also frees up time for women, enabling them to use it for their children's education, self-employment, or other useful pursuits.
The Ujjwala Yojana has also brought about social change in rural areas. Previously, women had to wander for hours in the forests for fuel, but now safe and clean fuel is available at home. This has increased women's safety and improved their quality of life. These new connections under Ujjwala Yojana 3.0 are not just about gas cylinders, but an important step towards better health, dignity, and a comfortable life. This scheme is truly playing a vital role in empowering women and realizing the dream of a clean India.
