March 4, the day of Holi, has been declared a dry day.

Jashpurnagar. As per the order of Chhattisgarh Government Commercial Tax (Excise) Department Mahanadi Bhawan, Nava Raipur, on the occasion of Holi (the day when colours will be played), March 4 has been declared as a 'dry day' for the entire state of Chhattisgarh.

Collector and District Magistrate Rohit Vyas has issued an order to keep all the Indian and foreign composite liquor shops and the courtyards and bars attached to all the liquor shops of Jashpur district completely closed from 10:00 pm on March 3 to 10:00 am on March 5 on the occasion of 'Holi' (the day when colours will be played) on March 4. All liquor transactions will be completely banned during this period. Collector Vyas has instructed the concerned officials to ensure strict compliance of the order.
