Villagers of the Governor's adopted Gram Panchayat Bijli visited Lok Bhavan.

Raipur. Governor Shri Ramen Deka today met with public representatives and villagers from his adopted village, Bijli, in Gariaband district. He discussed the progress of ongoing development work in the village with the villagers. They urged them to inform his office of any problems.

The villagers of Bijli, the village adopted by the Governor, were overjoyed. Seeing his warmth, the villagers became emotional and expressed their deep sense of belonging. All the villagers expressed their gratitude to the Governor for the development of their village. Sarpanch Mrs. Padma Nishad explained that the Governor has been arranging projects like tin sheds, water harvesting, recharge pits, and NADEP in their Gram Panchayat. Their village also has an Atal Digital Facilitation Center. Work is also underway in their village under the Vikasit Bharat Guarantee for Employment and Livelihood Mission. Additionally, smart boards have been provided in the school, which is helping children's education. Deputy Sarpanch Mr. Roshan Ram Patel stated that since the Governor adopted their village, their village has seen a surge in development. On behalf of the entire village, they thanked the Governor for this initiative.

Villagers from Bijli Gram Panchayat visited Lok Bhavan and learned about its history. Lok Bhavan also provided them with a tour of the Mahant Ghasidas Museum. Ms. Nidhi Sahu, Deputy Secretary to the Governor, was present on the occasion.
