A grand Pravasi Chhattisgarhi conference will be held in the capital Raipur.
Raipur - A meeting was held today in the committee room of the Assembly under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Shri Vikassheel regarding the preparations for the Pravasi Chhattisgarhi Sammelan. Public Relations Department Secretary Shri Rohit Yadav and Commissioner Dr. Ravi Mittal provided detailed information on the preparations. Principal Secretaries, Secretaries, and other senior officials from the relevant departments were present. It was announced that, similar to the Raipur Literature Festival, a grand Pravasi Chhattisgarhi Sammelan will be held in Naya Raipur on March 27th and 28th. Residents of Chhattisgarh living abroad will be invited to this conference. A portal has been created for this purpose, and registration is being conducted through this portal. Programs related to Chhattisgarhi folk traditions and culture will also be organized at the conference. Chief Secretary Shri Vikassheel expressed his appreciation for this initiative to connect Chhattisgarhi residents living abroad with the local people. He described the Pravasi Chhattisgarhi Sammelan as a great opportunity for both the state and the migrants. The Chief Secretary stated in the meeting that he would provide all the necessary amenities to the expatriate Chhattisgarh residents attending the summit. He directed the officials of the concerned departments to assist in the conference. He also called for honoring those from Chhattisgarh living abroad who are bringing honor to Chhattisgarh by doing outstanding work in their respective fields. Officials informed the meeting that mentoring sessions should be held for the youth of Chhattisgarh with experts in various fields, so that they can benefit. Expatriates from various fields will be invited to invest here. If expatriates agree to invest or work in any sector, MOUs will be signed with them. Chhattisgarhi cuisine will also be served during the Expatriate Chhattisgarhi Summit.
