Chief Minister Sai congratulated the woman farmer Basanti.

00 Basanti expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister on receiving the incentive amount
Raipur. During the distribution of input assistance amount organized at Veer Savarkar Bhawan in Jagdalpur, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, who was virtually connected from Bilaspur district, met Basanti Kashyap, a woman farmer from Mundapal in Bastar district, and congratulated her on receiving the incentive amount for purchasing paddy at the support price and asked about the use of the said amount. 
Basanti Kashyap told that her family has three and a half acres of ancestral agricultural land in which they do advanced paddy farming. This year, 50 quintals of paddy was sold at the support price, for which Rs 1 lakh 18 thousand was immediately deposited in her bank account. She used this amount for building a house and farming. Today, the incentive amount of Rs 36 thousand received will be used for expanding poultry farming and celebrating Holi festival. She expressed her gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Sai.

Basanti expressed her gratitude to the Chief Minister for receiving the incentive amount.


She explained that her family, along with farming, also engages in poultry farming, which is generating a good income. Keeping this in mind, she has decided to expand her poultry business further and will now keep more than 300 poultry, thus maximizing her income. She also revealed that she has benefited from the government's Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana and Mahatari Vandan Yojana, expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai for their farmer-friendly decisions.
