History-sheeter Mohammad arrested with pistol and live cartridges

Raipur. A tip-off was received near an under-construction complex in the Birgaon Durganagar area that a young man was carrying a pistol. Urla police arrived at the scene, identified him, and apprehended him. The young man turned out to be a history-sheeter, Mohammad Amir alias Badri. A search revealed an unlicensed pistol and live cartridges, which the police confiscated. Police registered a case against Mohammad under Section 25 of the Arms Act.
It's worth noting that Mohammad Amir had previously been jailed for more than two dozen crimes, including assault, rioting, robbery, and attempted murder, in Mana, Maudhapura, Khamtarai, and Urla police stations. He had also been externed. Despite this, he persisted in committing crimes, and today, Urla police arrested him again with a pistol and live cartridges.
