Jungle Safari will remain closed for three days on Holi.

Raipur. Important information for tourists planning to visit Asia's largest man-made jungle safari in Nava Raipur during the Holi holidays. The safari complex will be completely closed to general visitors from March 3 to 5, 2026. According to the safari management, this decision was taken in view of the possibility of crowding and chaos during the Holi festival. Furthermore, annual maintenance work is also carried out during this period. In view of this, entry will be restricted for three days.
A proposal in this regard was submitted by the Director and Divisional Forest Officer, which has been approved by Arun Kumar Pandey, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife) and Chief Wildlife Warden, Chhattisgarh. According to the order, no tourists will be allowed to enter the complex from March 3 to 5. Management states that there is a possibility of increased activities of anti-social elements in the safari and surrounding rural areas during Holi. This could cause damage to government property and wildlife areas. Therefore, this step has been taken as a precaution.
