Kondagaon. In view of the upcoming Holi festival, a stall was set up in the district office premises for the sale of herbal gulal manufactured by Maa Shitala Self Help Group of Village Jhatiban of Farasgaon development block. On Monday, Collector Nupur Rashi Panna visited the stall and purchased herbal gulal and gave the message of using natural colours on Holi. It is noteworthy that the group manufactures and sells herbal gulal every year on the occasion of Holi. This year's gulal is made using natural ingredients such as palash, dhawai, henna, beetroot, red spinach, spinach, turmeric, and rose water. The Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kondagaon, provided the group with technical guidance and necessary equipment for the production of herbal gulal.
