Mrs. Sumitra Bhagat receives financial assistance of Rs. 1,000 per month under the Mahatari Vandan Yojana. Instead of limiting this amount to household expenses, Mrs. Bhagat started a small grocery shop. This shop has generated regular additional income, improving her family's financial situation. Now, she is able to easily meet the basic household needs and better care for her children.
