Show cause notice to the operator of the district hospital
Jashpur . The Civil Surgeon and Chief Hospital Superintendent has given Mrs. Moti Chauhan (Operator Jeevandeep Karmachari) of the District Hospital, Jashpur, five days to submit an explanation for her indecent behavior with a patient's family. The Civil Surgeon stated in the notice that, taking cognizance of a viral video published/uploaded on social media, including Facebook, it appears from a video circulated on social media on 08.04.2026 that she was behaving indecently with the patient's family regarding the activation of the Ayushman card. The video shows that the patient has been repeatedly registering his presence at the Ayushman counter since morning to avail of the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY). However, instead of calmly addressing any problem, you are shouting and speaking rudely to the patient, which is completely contrary to the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Conduct) Rules, 1965. Since you are performing your duties in a government office, perhaps this behavior is not acceptable.
