RAIPUR NIGAM ACTION: Did not pay tax… directly sealed!

Raipur. The Raipur Municipal Corporation has initiated strict action against tax arrears. Chhattisgarh Technical University, a large defaulter in Ward 22, was immediately sealed.
According to reports, the owner, Pragya Nirvani, owed approximately ₹13.24 lakh in taxes from 2018-19. Despite repeated notices, the corporation team locked the premises after the payment was not made.
This action was taken by the team of Assistant Revenue Officer Vijay Sharma on the instructions of Zone Commissioner Arun Dhruv.
Similarly, the corporation's pressure worked in Ward 24. Naya Savera School had a tax due of ₹2.25 lakh. As soon as the team arrived to seal the school, the school management immediately paid the full amount.
