Raipur. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, concrete steps are being taken continuously to strengthen and ensure a reliable power supply in the state. In this regard, a comprehensive plan is being implemented to address the problem of low voltage in various rural areas of the state, including Jashpur district.
On the Chief Minister's instructions, additional transformers will be installed in 133 villages, towns, and localities in Jashpur district. This initiative will ensure a permanent solution to the long-standing problem of low voltage and frequent power outages. This will directly benefit farmers, students, and small businesses, enabling them to conduct their daily activities more smoothly.

As part of the state government's expansion of power infrastructure, work is also progressing rapidly on high-level projects in Jashpur district. A state-of-the-art 400/220 kV substation is being established at Harradand in Kunkuri, which will be one of the state's major high-capacity substations. Additionally, new 33/11 kV substations will be established at various locations, including Salihatoli, Vipatpur, Bhagora, Samdama, Maini, Rede, Palidih, Khutera, and Chetwa. High-capacity 132/33 kV substations have also been approved in Farsabahar and Jhikki Bagicha, further strengthening the regional power distribution system.
Implementation of these projects will significantly improve the quality of power supply in the state, reduce low voltage and tripping issues, and boost industrial and agricultural activities. This initiative by the state government is expected to positively impact the quality of life in rural areas. The people of the state expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai for this initiative and called it an important step towards the overall development of the state.
