No Plastic Campaign Brand Ambassador Mrs. Apte met Governor Deka
Raipur: Mrs. Shubhangi Apte, Brand Ambassador of the No Plastic Campaign, paid a courtesy call on Governor Mr. Ramen Deka at Lok Bhavan today. During the visit, she provided information about the campaigns and public awareness activities being conducted to make the Raipur Municipal Corporation area plastic-free.
Mrs. Apte stated that so far, she has distributed over 55,000 cloth bags to schools, banks, markets, and other public places to discourage people from using plastic. She also stated that six books have been published in Braille for the disabled. Furthermore, government hospitals are providing mother-child kits for needy mothers and newborns.
The Governor praised her work related to social and environmental protection, calling it an inspiration for society. It is worth noting that Mrs. Apte is also playing an active role as a brand ambassador for the Municipal Corporation's cleanliness campaign.
