A state-of-the-art cricket academy and sports ground will be built in Rajnandgaon, thanks expressed for the decision of the Chief Minister
Raipur: The officials of Rajnandgaon District Cricket Association, led by Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai in his office room at the Assembly today.
On this occasion, the delegation thanked the Chief Minister for the important decision taken by the Council of Ministers to allocate 5 acres of land at a concessional rate from the Suryamukhi Devi Rajgami estate for the construction of a modern sports ground and a state-of-the-art cricket academy. He said that this initiative will provide better training facilities to the district's sports talent and open new possibilities in the field of cricket.
Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh thanked the Chief Minister for taking a prompt decision at the Council of Ministers meeting on the region's long-awaited demand. He said that this decision will enable the construction of a state-of-the-art stadium in Rajnandgaon, providing high-level opportunities for the state's athletes. Furthermore, being a tribal-dominated region, this region will provide a better platform for local talent to showcase their abilities at the national level.
During this, MLA Shri Dharam Lal Kaushik, MLA Shri Purandar Mishra, MLA Shri Lalit Chandrakar, General Secretary of Chhattisgarh Olympic Association Shri Vikram Sisodiya, Secretary of Rajnandgaon District Cricket Association Shri Yogesh Bagdi along with other officials and members were present.
