Raipur. Under the Chief Minister's Skill Development Scheme, free training is being provided in various short-term (03 to 04 months) courses at Livelihood College Jora, Raipur, with the aim of connecting the youth of the district in the age group of 18 to 45 years with employment and self-employment.
Under this scheme, courses like Assistant Electrician and Yoga Instructor are being conducted. Also, with the aim of connecting the beneficiaries with employment in the Electric Vehicle (EV) sector, an EV Skill Training Lab has been set up in the Livelihood College campus by the training partner Cyrobonics Technology Pvt Ltd, Raipur.

In this lab, various courses related to electric vehicles like Electric Vehicle Quality Control Inspector, Electric Vehicle Maintenance Technician, Electric Vehicle Assembly Technician, Battery System Assembly Operator and training related to EV charging and battery swapping activities at retail outlets are being provided. In the training, along with technical skills, youth are also trained in computer skills, communication skills and personality development. The minimum educational qualification for these courses has been fixed as passing 8th, 10th and 12th.
