CG ACCIDENT: High-speed car falls into river, 4 youths returning from wedding die

CG ACCIDENT: Kawardha. A tragic road accident occurred in Kawardha district of Chhattisgarh. A car returning from a wedding ceremony lost control and plunged into the Phok River. Four young men died on the spot, while two others were seriously injured. The incident occurred on the Phok River bridge near Gadai village, under the Pandatarai police station area.

 

According to reports, some young men from Raipur's Birgaon area had come to attend a wedding in Pandaria. After the wedding rituals were completed, they were returning to Raipur in their car. The car, which was speeding, lost control and plunged onto the Phok River bridge near Gadai village. Six people were in the car at the time, four of whom died on the spot, and two were injured. The deceased have been identified as Arman Khan, Saunf, Anas, and Kaunen, while the injured are identified as Junaid Raza and Aarzoo Khan.

Investigation continues

Following the incident, nearby villagers rushed to the scene and informed the police. A police team, along with the villagers, immediately began relief and rescue operations. After considerable effort, the injured were extricated from the car and immediately rushed to the district hospital. Both young men were referred to a private hospital for better treatment, where their condition remains critical. The bodies of the deceased were sent to Pandaria Health Center after post-mortem. Preliminary police investigations indicate that the accident was caused by speeding and loss of vehicle control. The case is under investigation.
