Development works worth Rs 102 crore gifted to Raigarh: CM Sai said – public trust is our biggest strength

Raigarh. In the Sushasan Tihar program organized in Kusmura of Raigarh district, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai gave the gift of development works worth more than Rs 102 crore 93 lakh to the people of the district.

The Chief Minister inaugurated and performed groundbreaking ceremonies for a total of 24 development projects related to roads, irrigation, education, and infrastructure. This included the inauguration of 13 projects worth ₹33.98 crore and the groundbreaking ceremony for 11 projects worth ₹68.94 crore.

The Chief Minister said that the state government is working with the resolve of developed Chhattisgarh and now the public has started seeing changes on the ground.

He said that he has a long-standing close relationship with Raigarh, and that the people here have always shown him family-like affection. The Chief Minister said that Good Governance Festival is not just a government event, but has become a powerful medium for trust, dialogue, and solutions between the government and the people.

He said that through the Good Governance Festival, which runs from May 1 to June 10, people's problems across the state are being resolved on priority. Thousands of people have received relief from the special campaign launched to resolve revenue matters.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the government is continuously working to bring positive changes in the lives of farmers, women, youth and poor families.

He informed that paddy is being purchased from farmers in the state at the rate of Rs 3,100 per quintal, and 1.3 million farmers have been paid a bonus of Rs 3,716 crore. Women are being empowered financially through the Mahtari Vandan Yojana.

The Chief Minister also made several important announcements at the event. He announced the completion of the road connecting the villages of Supa, Ghughuwa, Putkapuri, Tarapur, Usraut, and Kashichuan, the construction of a Mahatari Sadan and a warehouse in Kusmura, and the upgrading of the sub-health center. The Kusmura College building, to be constructed at a cost of approximately ₹5 crore, was also mentioned. Finance Minister OP Chaudhary, MP Radheshyam Rathiya, and other public representatives were present on the occasion.
