Villagers' confidence overflows at the Good Governance Tihar camp

More than 400 applications received, many problems resolved on the spot


Raipur, May 18, 2026: A joint camp of 12 Gram Panchayats was organized under the Good Governance Festival in the Gram Panchayat Matenar of Dantewada district. A large number of villagers attended the camp and submitted applications
for various government schemes and services. Over 400 applications were received, many of which were resolved on the spot, providing relief to the people.
District Panchayat Member Mrs. Kamla Vinay Nag, District Member Mrs. Santani Thakur, public representatives, Sarpanchs, Deputy Sarpanchs, Panchayat members, and a large number of villagers were present.
Organized to provide villagers with access to various departmental services under one roof, the camp provided benefits under several important schemes. The Agriculture Department distributed Kisan Credit Cards to 11 farmers, and birth certificates to six beneficiaries.
Additionally, Aadhaar card corrections, new Aadhaar card creation, Aadhaar linking for the Mahatari Vandan Yojana, income certificates, caste certificates, and residence certificates were also completed at the camp.
Villagers expressed their happiness at the quick resolution of their concerns and the availability of services from various departments under one roof. They noted that such camps are proving extremely beneficial for people in remote areas, as they no longer have to visit government offices for even minor tasks.
These camps, organized under the Good Governance Festival, are proving to be an effective initiative in ensuring that the benefits of government schemes reach the last person and that common people's problems are resolved promptly.
