Raipur. Chhattisgarh Government, Water Resources Department has approved Rs 3 crore 80 lakh 20 thousand for the renovation work of the canals of Barkela Reservoir Scheme of Manendragarh development block of Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur district. After completion of the proposed works, irrigation facility will be available in the entire designed area including fulfilling the shortfall of 254 hectares against the designed irrigation capacity of 285 hectares. Administrative approval has been given to Chief Engineer Hasdeo Ganga Floodplain Water Resources Department Ambikapur to complete the works of the scheme.
