Overall development of the region is our top priority, the light of development will reach every village: Chaudhary

Raipur- On the eve of his birthday, State Finance Minister and Raigarh MLA Shri O.P. Choudhary visited the village panchayats of Midmida, Tribhauna, Turanga, Kotasura and Kodatarai in the Pusaur district area and presented development works worth crores of rupees. He laid the foundation stone, performed Bhoomi Pujan and inaugurated various construction works and reiterated his resolve to give a new direction to the development of the area. During this, development works worth a total of Rs 32 crore 15 lakh were inaugurated and foundation stones were laid.

Addressing the villagers, Finance Minister Shri O.P. Choudhary said that it is his responsibility to fulfill the trust placed in him by the people of the state and Raigarh through development work. He said that the holistic and balanced development of Raigarh district is among his top priorities and continuous efforts are being made to bring the light of development to every village.

Minister Mr. Chaudhary said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Vishnudev Sai, Chhattisgarh is moving toward a new era of development, good governance, and public welfare. The state government's goal is not merely to create schemes, but to bring about real change in people's lives by ensuring their benefits reach the last person. Empowerment of villages, the poor, farmers, youth, and women is among the government's top priorities.

Mr. Chaudhary stated that roads, education, health, sports, and infrastructure are being rapidly expanded in rural areas, bridging the development gap between villages and cities. He stated that the projects for which the foundation stone was laid and inaugurated today are not merely construction projects, but rather lay a strong foundation for a better future for thousands of people in the region. He stated that good roads are the foundation for any region's progress. These will facilitate farmers in transporting their produce to market, facilitate students' access to school and college, and foster new local business and employment opportunities. Meanwhile, construction projects like the mini-stadium will provide rural youth with opportunities to advance in sports.

Foundation stone laid for construction works worth Rs 26.80 crore

Finance Minister Mr. Chaudhary laid the foundation stone for four important road construction projects costing over ₹26.8 crore (268 million rupees). These included the construction of a 1.50-kilometer concrete road on the Tribhauna-Kodpali access road at a cost of ₹2.80 crore (280 million rupees).

    Construction of 0.70 km CC road on Midmida High School approach road at a cost of Rs 1.24 crore.

    Construction of 3.50 km road on Machida-Kalmi road at a cost of Rs 3.04 crore.

    Construction work of 6.70 km CC road on Kodatarai-Pusaur-Surajgarh road at a cost of Rs 19.71 crore.

Completion of these projects will facilitate transportation in rural areas and improve access to education, health and other essential services.

Inauguration of development works worth Rs 5.35 crore

Finance Minister Shri Chaudhary also inaugurated various development works completed at a cost of Rs 5 crore 34 lakh 82 thousand.

These include the Gotama-Kotasura Road (3.50 kilometers), constructed by the Public Works Department at a cost of ₹39.2 million (39.9 million rupees). Additionally, the Turanga Mini Stadium, constructed at a cost of ₹6.5 million (6.5 million rupees) from the District Mineral Trust Fund, was inaugurated.

Besides, CC road, cultural shed, Mahtari Sadan, passenger waiting room and other public facility related works constructed under Scheduled Caste Development Authority, Chief Minister's Comprehensive Rural Development Scheme, Chhattisgarh Development Authority, Chief Minister's Infrastructure Upgradation Item, MLA Fund and Chief Minister's announcement in the villages Midmida, Kodatarai, Tribhauna and Turanga of Janpad Panchayat Pusaur area were also inaugurated. In the end, Finance Minister Mr. Chaudhary said that the state government is working with full commitment to realize the resolution of developed Chhattisgarh and in the coming years, Raigarh will emerge as the leading and ideal district of the state in the field of development.
