CG ED-CBI Raid: ED and CBI raid the homes of former Governor's secretary and IAS officer, investigating bank accounts and movable and immovable assets.
Bhilai. CG ED-CBI Raid: Central agencies have intensified their investigation into the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) recruitment scam. On Wednesday, a joint team of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) raided the Talpuri residence of Amrit Khalko, former secretary to the Governor and senior IAS officer, in Bhilai.
According to sources, the investigation team has been present at Amrit Khalko's home since morning and is questioning him and his family members. Authorities are also thoroughly examining documents related to bank accounts, financial transactions, and movable and immovable properties. Several important documents and electronic devices are also being examined during the investigation.
It's worth noting that Amrit Khalko's name was embroiled in controversy in the CGPSC recruitment scam that surfaced in 2024. The allegation was that members of his family were allegedly given unfair advantages in the CGPSC exam. His daughter, Neha Khalko, secured 13th rank and his son, Nikhil Khalko, secured 17th rank, and both were selected for the post of Deputy Collector.
