Raipur / The biggest responsibility of the government administration is to ensure sensitive, transparent and timely resolution of public problems. Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai said this during a joint review meeting of officials from Bilaspur, Mungeli, Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, Sakti and Sarangarh-Bilaigarh districts during his visit to Bilaspur under the Good Governance Festival. Chief Minister Shri Sai conducted a detailed review of the progress of development works, revenue matters, drinking water system, health services and preparations for the upcoming Kharif season.

Run special campaigns for resolving revenue cases

While reviewing revenue matters, the Chief Minister directed a special campaign to resolve cases that are beyond the deadline and pending for more than a year. He said that name transfers, partitions, demarcations, and other revenue matters directly relate to the lives and livelihoods of citizens. Unnecessary delays in such matters increase public suffering, therefore, their prompt and quality resolution should be given top priority.

Keep special vigil on drinking water and health facilities

Chief Minister Shri Sai directed that drinking water supply be given top priority in all districts in view of the summer conditions. He said that constant monitoring and prompt action should be ensured to ensure that no drinking water crisis arises in any area.

He directed the Health Department to make advance preparations for the prevention and treatment of potential seasonal diseases, keeping in mind the upcoming rainy season. The Chief Minister said that it is the collective responsibility of the administration to ensure that citizens do not face any inconvenience regarding health services and basic amenities.

In the meeting, the Chief Minister reviewed preparations for the upcoming Kharif season and inquired about the availability, storage, and distribution of fertilizers and seeds. He directed the collectors to ensure adequate quantities of fertilizers and seeds are made available to farmers in a timely manner and that the distribution system remains completely transparent and organized.

Citing the limited availability of DAP fertilizer due to conditions in West Asia, the Chief Minister stressed the need to educate farmers about the use of alternative fertilizers. He called for promoting the use of alternatives such as SSP, urea, nano urea, and nano DAP. Scientific farming and balanced fertilizer use can increase production and reduce farming costs.

Women's participation will increase in agriculture sector

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that women should be provided training in modern agricultural techniques and necessary financial assistance so that they can become self-reliant by engaging in technology-based agricultural activities. This will expand modern technologies in the agricultural sector and create new employment and income opportunities for women.

Good governance festival is becoming successful due to public participation

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that he himself has participated in the resolution camps held across the state and directly interacted with ordinary citizens. He said that the large number of people participating in the camps, despite the scorching heat, is proof that the public's faith in the government and administration has strengthened.

He said that Good Governance Festival is not just a campaign to resolve complaints, but a means to strengthen trust and communication between the government and the public. Expressing happiness over the release of the 28th installment of the Mahatari Vandan Yojana, the Chief Minister said that the state government is continuously working for the economic empowerment and social security of women.
