Review of development works in Jashpur, Secretary in charge Ankit Anand gave instructions for timely implementation
Jashpur). District In-Charge Secretary Ankit Anand reviewed the progress of various development works and public welfare schemes at a review meeting held in the District Panchayat meeting hall. Several departments, including health, education, agriculture, drinking water, housing, and social security, were reviewed and necessary instructions were given to officials.
He directed the timely resolution of applications received under the Good Governance Festival, the speedy completion of pending Prime Minister's Housing projects, and the acceleration of incomplete Jal Jeevan Mission projects. He also reviewed the progress of the medical college, 220-bed hospital, nursing college, and other important institutions.
The Agriculture Department was directed to promote pulses, oilseeds, horticulture, fisheries, and dairy activities and provide credit facilities to increase farmers' income. The Social Welfare Department was also asked to ensure doorstep delivery of pensions to disabled, elderly, and destitute beneficiaries.
Collector Rohit Vyas stated that 15,846 applications were received at 35 camps organized in the district under Good Governance Festival, of which 11,205 have been resolved. Of the more than 1.12 lakh houses approved under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 93,506 have been completed. The meeting included a detailed review of various departments and schemes.
