Raipur, June 10, 2026/ Secretary of the School Education Department, Dr. Kamalpreet Singh, paid a courtesy call on Governor Shri Ramen Deka at Lok Bhavan today. During the visit, the Governor discussed in detail the state of education and the educational facilities available in the state's particularly backward tribal areas.

The Governor emphasized the need to take necessary steps to provide quality education to children from particularly backward tribes and directed the prompt resolution of related problems. He said that special attention should be paid to connecting students living in remote and mountainous areas to education and developing the necessary infrastructure for them.

The Governor said that issues related to education of children of special backward tribes, hostel facilities, school infrastructure and availability of teachers should be resolved with sensitivity, so that the students of these areas can get better educational opportunities and their all-round development can be ensured.
