Raipur – The arrival of monsoon in the state is not far away. The India Meteorological Department has indicated that the southwest monsoon may enter Chhattisgarh in the next few days. Along with this, a period of rain and strong winds has also been predicted. Amidst the continuously increasing heat and humidity in Chhattisgarh, the latest forecast from the Meteorological Department has brought relief to the people. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), conditions are rapidly becoming favorable for the advance of the southwest monsoon in the state.

The Meteorological Department says that the monsoon may arrive in parts of Chhattisgarh within the next three to four days. Starting June 11th, most districts in the state may experience increased thunderstorm activity, light to moderate rain, and strong winds. According to experts, the increased monsoon activity is expected to bring a drop in temperatures, providing relief from the intense heat and humidity. However, the Meteorological Department has also advised people to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions during inclement weather.
