Immediate implementation of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai's announcement, acceptance of villagers' demands
Promises made during Good Governance Festival are being fulfilled, approval has been given for construction of Panchayat Bhawan, PDS Bhawan and Muktidham.
Raipur,/The Good Governance Festival, organized under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, has emerged as not only a platform for public dialogue but also an effective means of quickly fulfilling public aspirations. The state government and district administration are continuously working with sensitivity and promptness to quickly resolve the problems and demands of ordinary citizens. In this regard, the announcements made by Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai during his visit to Surguja in response to the demands of the villagers have been promptly approved and implemented.
It is noteworthy that on May 3, 2026, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai visited Shantipara in Silma Gram Panchayat, located in the Batauli development block of Surguja district, as part of the Good Governance Festival. Interacting directly with villagers at the public meeting, he inquired about the area's needs and problems and announced various development works.
In accordance with the announcements of the Chief Minister, the district administration has taken prompt action and approved various construction works. In village Silma, through convergence of DMF and MNREGA, construction of new Panchayat Bhawan at a cost of Rs 18.30 lakh, Muktidham at a cost of Rs 2.50 lakh from DMF funds and construction of new PDS Bhawan at a cost of Rs 11.63 lakh from MNREGA funds has been approved. Similarly, in village Kunkurikhala, construction of new Panchayat Bhawan at a cost of Rs 18.30 lakh has been approved through convergence of DMF and MNREGA.
The villagers expressed their happiness and gratitude for the prompt implementation of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai's announcements. They said that through Good Governance Festival, the government and administration are reaching out directly to the public, not only listening to their problems, but also ensuring timely action to resolve them.
In accordance with the intention of the state government, the district administration is continuously taking effective steps to resolve the demands and public problems received during the Good Governance Festival, due to which the benefits of development works are reaching the common people on time and the concept of good governance is being realised at the grassroots level
