Raipur, June 19, 2026/The Chhattisgarh government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, is taking a significant step toward bringing good governance to the people and ensuring that every eligible family benefits from government schemes. To this end, the state government is launching the "Sughra Chhattisgarh" campaign. This campaign will be a comprehensive program to saturate 31 major beneficiary-oriented schemes in 23 districts of the state, strengthening the reach, effectiveness, and transparency of the schemes.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai has said that the foundation for building a developed Chhattisgarh is not just infrastructure development, but ensuring effective and timely access to government schemes for every family. The government's goal is not just to implement schemes, but to ensure their positive results are visible in the lives of every family.

He said that the state government's priority is to establish a governance system in which citizens do not have to wander unnecessarily to avail benefits of schemes, but rather the government itself reaches out to eligible beneficiaries and connects them with schemes. "Sughra Chhattisgarh" is an extension of this vision.

New initiative inspired by the success of 'Niyad Nellanar'

The 'Niyad Nellanar' scheme, being implemented in Bastar division since 2024, has created a new bridge of trust between the government and the public. Through convergence-based service delivery, the scheme has strengthened the government's presence in remote and sensitive areas and ensured the reach of schemes to eligible beneficiaries.

Given the success of the scheme, it was expanded to 10 districts as "Niyad Nellanar 2.0." Now, the "Sughar Chhattisgarh" campaign is being launched, implementing this successful model in the remaining 23 districts of the state.

This campaign will be run in 23 districts of Raipur, Bilaspur, Durg and Surguja divisions and will work to connect rural families with various welfare schemes of the government. Under the 'Sughghar Chhattisgarh' campaign, Raipur, Balodabazar-Bhatapara, Dhamtari and Mahasamund districts of Raipur division; Bilaspur, Korba, Janjgir-Champa, Mungeli, Raigarh, Sakti, Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi and Sarangarh-Bilaigarh districts of Bilaspur division; Durg, Balod, Bemetara, Kabirdham (Kawardha) and Rajnandgaon districts of Durg division and Surguja, Korea, Surajpur, Balrampur-Ramanujganj, Jashpur and Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur districts of Surguja division are included.

From good governance to saturation

The main objective of the 'Sughra Chhattisgarh' campaign is to bring the schemes of various departments on a common platform and ensure their 100% benefit to the eligible beneficiaries.

The 'Sughghar Chhattisgarh' campaign will establish convergence between various departments and develop a system in which information about schemes, eligibility, progress and saturation status will be available in an integrated manner.

31 public welfare schemes will be saturated

Under the campaign, 31 major schemes related to social security, housing, employment, food security, health, education, women empowerment, agriculture, skill development and basic civic services have been included.
