Dhamtari. A heartbreaking and tragic news has emerged from Kapalpodi village, which falls under the Magarlod police station area of ​​the district. Two young daughters, relatives of relatives, drowned while bathing in a pond near Bazaar Chowk.

Following this tragic accident, a wave of mourning has spread throughout the area and village. According to reports, the school was closed today due to the Muharram holiday. Around 9:30 in the morning, the two innocent girls went together to bathe in the pond located at the village market square. Unable to gauge the depth, they drowned.

The tragedy came to light when a woman from the village, Premin Bai, went to the pond to bathe. She saw the girls' clothes and a bucket lying on the pond's bank, but no children were visible nearby. Fearing something untoward, the woman immediately informed the girls' families and the villagers. When the villagers searched the pond, they recovered the bodies of both girls.
