A young man was murdered due to a mutual dispute in village Doomar of Nandini police station area of ​​the district. 25-year-old Chetan Thakur, who was sleeping near a water tank, was killed by crushing his head with a heavy object at around 12 o'clock on the night of 25th June. Initial investigation revealed that Chetan Thakur was sleeping near the water tank when the accused attacked him with a heavy object. Chetan died on the spot due to serious head injury. On receiving information about the incident, Nandini police station reached the spot and started investigation.

Given the seriousness of the murder, a joint team from the Crime Branch and Nandini Police Station took immediate action. The team detained the suspect, Ranu Ram Yadav (22). Based on interrogation and evidence, the police arrested him on murder charges. According to the police, preliminary investigations revealed a personal dispute as the motive for the murder. A detailed investigation into the entire incident is underway. A case has been registered against the accused under relevant sections and further legal action is being taken.
