Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai listened to the 135th episode of Prime Minister's 'Mann Ki Baat' along with public representatives and citizens at the Chief Minister's residence.
Raipur, June 28, 2026/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today listened to the 135th episode of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's popular monthly radio program "Mann Ki Baat" at the Chief Minister's residence with public representatives and citizens. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that "Mann Ki Baat" has become a powerful medium of communication between the public and the leadership. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's thoughts not only inspire the countrymen but also pave the way for positive change in society.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that in each episode, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi highlights innovations, public participation, and inspiring efforts from across the country, which in turn gives new energy to positive work in society. He said that the mention of Chhattisgarh's innovations and achievements in several episodes of "Mann Ki Baat" is a matter of pride for the entire state.
The Chief Minister said that this time, Prime Minister Shri Modi has given a message of environmental protection on the occasion of the upcoming Ganeshotsav and called for the installation of clay idols of Lord Ganesha. He also highlighted the importance of social security through the Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and, giving the message of conserving every drop of rainwater, called for making water conservation a mass movement.
Chief Minister Sai said that Prime Minister Modi, citing the Living Root Bridge in Meghalaya, presented an example of the remarkable harmony between nature and humanity. He also emphasized the need to dispel social superstitions through science, reason, and awareness. The efforts of Assamese women, through the "Hargila Army," to conserve the rare bird Hargila and dispel myths surrounding it, are an inspiring example of public awareness.
The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi mentioned initiatives like the Nagaland Baby League and the Nagaland Women's Futsal League, which are being run to promote sports culture in Nagaland. He also praised the efforts of Nalanda University and Central Sanskrit University to advance the Indian knowledge tradition with modern technology. The Prime Minister also informed that members of 'Brahmakamal Dominicana' in the Dominican Republic are connecting with Indian culture by studying Vedic literature. Meanwhile, the initiative of women of Biaora in Rajgarh district of Madhya Pradesh to beautify public places using plastic waste is an excellent example of cleanliness and innovation.
