BHILAI TOWNSHIP BSP NOTICE: Devendra comes forward to save the township

Bhilai. The eviction notices issued in Bhilai Township have raised concerns for thousands of families. Now, Bhilai Nagar MLA Devendra Yadav has openly taken the lead on this issue, going door-to-door to garner support.

During the public support campaign, which began in Sector 2 on Tuesday, the MLA met with the families who received the notices and listened to their concerns. A large number of local residents also joined him.

Devendra Yadav alleged that a systematic approach is being taken to eliminate Bhilai's settlements. According to him, attempts were first made to remove people through a retention scheme, and now notices are being sent to lease and license holders.

The MLA stated clearly that the identity and centuries-old settlement of Bhilai Township will not be allowed to be destroyed at any cost. He said that letters of support will be obtained from the families who received notices, and based on these documents, the entire matter will be presented to the Prime Minister's Office and the Union Steel Minister.

He also said that if needed, this issue will be given the form of a big mass movement, but the movement will be run in a completely democratic and Gandhian manner.

Devendra Yadav claims that this entire matter could affect more than 10,000 families. He expressed concern that in the future, plans may be made to vacate large portions of the township and hand them over to private organizations or builders.

He says that Bhilai is not just an industrial city, but a symbol of the shared culture and decades-old identity of people coming from different parts of the country, which he will fight till his last breath to save.
