INDIA PAKISTAN OPEN LETTER: Famous personalities of India and Pakistan wrote an open letter.

Raipur. Amidst the tensions between India and Pakistan, 117 prominent figures have come together. Individuals from the social, political, educational, and cultural fields of both countries have written an open letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Shahbaz Sharif, urging them to normalize relations

The joint initiative, signed by 61 prominent figures from India and 56 from Pakistan, says the growing hostility and tensions are causing the greatest harm to ordinary people and the future of young people.

The letter urged both governments to restart the dialogue process, restore the appointment of High Commissioners in New Delhi and Islamabad, resume visa services and re-establish air connectivity.

It has also been suggested to completely open the Attari-Wagah border for trade and movement of common people and to restart the Srinagar-Muzaffarabad bus service.

The signatories said that India and Pakistan together represent nearly a fifth of the world's population. Therefore, the people of both countries, especially the youth, should have a future of peace, development and cooperation, not conflict.

The letter has been signed by several prominent figures, including Farooq Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti, Mani Shankar Aiyar, and Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, from India's side, while Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri and several others are included from Pakistan's side.
