Raipur, A district-level launch event for the Vikasit Bharat Rozgar and Aajeevika Guarantee Mission (Rural) was held on Thursday at the Arpa Sabha Hall of the Collectorate in Pendra, Gaurela Pendra Marwahi district. The event featured a live broadcast of the national-level launch event via video conferencing. The chief guest was Mr. Pranav Kumar Marpachchi, Vice Chairman of the Central Zone Tribal Development Authority and Marwahi MLA, while the event was chaired by District Panchayat Chairperson Ms. Samira Paikra. Launching the mission at the national level, Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Rural Development, Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan, emphasized rural employment, self-employment, skill development, and livelihood promotion.
Chief Guest Mr. Pranav Kumar Marpachchi stated that each Gram Panchayat would receive an annual grant of ₹2 crore (20 million rupees), enabling equal development work to be carried out across all panchayats. Expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi and Union Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan, he appealed to public representatives to ensure effective implementation of the scheme. District Panchayat President Ms. Sameera Paikra said that this scheme is directly linked to the development of villages, poor and farmers. Through this, livelihood, construction work and other development schemes will gain momentum, which will give a new direction to the development of the Panchayats as well as the district and the state. District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Mr. Mukesh Raote, District Panchayat Vice President Raja Upendra Bahadur Singh, Janpad Panchayat President Marwahi Janaki Kushro, District Panchayat members Bhawar Singh Gowas, Pawan Paikra, Purnima Paikra, District President Lalji Yadav, Deputy Collector Ms. Akanksha Pandey along with public representatives and district level officers were present in the program.
