Raipur: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today inaugurated and performed bhumi pujan for various development works worth over ₹128 crore at a program held in the Nagar Panchayat Samoda of the Arang Assembly constituency. On this occasion, he also made several important announcements to give new impetus to the development of the area.

Chief Minister Shri Sai announced construction of a stop dam in Gram Panchayat Rewa at a cost of about Rs 4 crore, construction of a boundary wall in Government Higher Secondary School Samoda, construction of the first floor in the Panchayat Bhawan of Nagar Panchayat Samoda and upgradation of the High School of Village Tulsi to a Higher Secondary School.

Chief Minister Shri Sai stated that good governance, development, and public welfare are the hallmarks of our government. He added that our government has fulfilled most of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's guarantee promises over the past two and a half years. He added that "Modi's guarantee, that is, the guarantee of fulfillment of guarantees," is not just a slogan, but a symbol of our government's work ethic and public trust.

Chief Minister Sai said the state government has approved Prime Minister's Housing Schemes for 1.8 million poor families, of which more than 1 million have been completed. Paddy is being purchased from farmers at a rate of ₹3,100 per quintal, and under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, more than ₹18,000 crore has been transferred to women's accounts in 28 installments.

He said that the government's goal is to bring the benefits of development to the last person in society. With this vision, roads, electricity, drinking water, health, and other basic amenities are being rapidly expanded in remote areas of the state, including Bastar.

The Chief Minister said that the government is continuously working to establish good governance, transparency, and accountability in the state. Along with effective action against corruption and crime, citizen services are being made simpler and more accessible.

He said that adequate quantities of fertilizers, seeds, and agricultural inputs have been ensured for farmers. For the convenience of citizens, more than 520 government services are being made available through Seva Setu, and timely resolution of complaints is being ensured through the Chief Minister's Helpline 1076.

Chief Minister Shri Sai stated that cooperation, women's empowerment, and public welfare are among the government's priorities. Urging citizens to take maximum advantage of government schemes, he informed that the Chief Minister's Electricity Bill Settlement Scheme has been extended for three months. Eligible consumers can avail the scheme by registering through the "More Bijli" mobile app or website by September.

Speaking at the event, Skill Development and Technical Education Minister Guru Khuswant Saheb said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, the Arang Assembly constituency has received development projects worth more than Rs 858 crore. He said that under the Chief Minister's leadership, a new direction of development and good governance has been established in the state.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai planted an Amla tree as part of the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 2.0" campaign. He distributed bicycles to Class 9 girl students under the Saraswati Cycle Scheme and honored outstanding students under the district administration's Mission Utkarsh.

On this occasion, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Leather Craftsmen Development Board, Mr. Dhruv Kumar Mirdha, Vice Chairman of Chhattisgarh Medicinal Plant Board, Mr. Ajay Shukla, Collector Dr. Gaurav Singh along with other public representatives, officers and a large number of dignitaries were present.
