Raipur: During his visit to Kanker, Deputy Chief Minister and Minister in-charge of Kanker district, Shri Arun Saw, inaugurated the newly constructed tehsil office building in Sarona. He inspected various rooms of the office and also planted a tree on the premises. MP Shri Bhojraj Nag and MLA Shri Asharam Netam were also present.

The Public Works Department constructed a new building for the Tehsil office at a cost of ₹63.81 million. This well-equipped building has 10 rooms where various branches will operate. Present at the inauguration ceremony were Mrs. Shalini Rajput, Chairperson of the Chhattisgarh Handicrafts Board, Mrs. Tara Thakur, Vice Chairperson of the Kanker District Panchayat, Mr. Arun Kaushik, Municipal Council President, and Mr. Haresh Mandavi, CEO of the District Panchayat. Numerous public representatives and dignitaries were also present.
