Raipur: Ankita Sangale, an 18-year-old NEET aspirant from Ahilyanagar, Maharashtra, allegedly committed suicide. The incident took place in Jalalpur, Karjat taluka.

Family members say Ankita took this step due to her low NEET marks. Police have registered an accidental death report and launched an investigation.
NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) leader Nilesh Lanke met with Ankita's family and expressed grief over the incident. He demanded that a case of culpable homicide be filed against those involved in the NEET paper leak. He claimed that Ankita had scored well in the NEET exam held before the paper leak.
