Raipur. The tricolor fluttering in hands, Bharat Mata ki Jai, patriotic songs and the enthusiasm of thousands of citizens filled with patriotism - the capital Raipur was completely painted in the colors of the tricolor today. Thousands of citizens united under the national flag in the grand Tiranga Yatra that started from Balbir Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium to Subhash Stadium. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai himself held the tricolor in his hand and walked step by step with the crowd. The enthusiasm of youth, women, children, elderly, ex-servicemen and people from various social classes in the Yatra was worth seeing. The nearly one kilometer long tricolor held in the hands of school students was a special attraction of the entire event.

From the beginning to the end of the Tiranga Yatra, the capital was filled with a vibrant atmosphere of patriotism. Thousands of hands waving the national flag and chanting "Bharat Mata ki Jai" filled the entire route of the Yatra with a spirit of patriotism. Chief Minister Shri Sai also walked ahead carrying the tricolor among the citizens. During this time, citizens were particularly enthusiastic about walking with the Chief Minister and being a part of this Yatra organized in honor of the national flag. Chief Minister Sai said on this occasion that the tricolor is our pride and honor. It is not just our national flag, but a symbol of India's unity, integrity, self-respect, and countless sacrifices. The tricolor has the unique power to bind the 1.4 billion Indians together. Despite the diversity of languages, cultures, traditions, and regions, the tricolor unites us all with a shared pride of being Indian.

The Chief Minister said that when the tricolor flies, every Indian naturally feels a sense of pride and respect for the nation. Our national flag bears witness to the struggles of the freedom movement, the sacrifices of freedom fighters, and India's journey as a strong nation. The tricolor reminds us of our rights as well as our duties towards the nation. He said that, following the call of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign has today become a massive public movement. This campaign has further strengthened the spirit of patriotism and national pride by taking the tricolor to every home. The Chief Minister urged the people of the state to hoist the tricolor with full respect and dignity in their homes on Independence Day and to make this celebration of national unity even more grand by joining the Tiranga Yatras.

Chief Minister Sai said that the independent India in which we live with pride and dignity today was not achieved easily. It is the result of the struggle, sacrifice, austerity, and dedication of millions of our countrymen. Countless brave sons of the nation sacrificed everything to free the motherland from the shackles of slavery. He said that people from every region and society of the country contributed to the freedom movement. Some dedicated their lives, others left their homes and families, and many brave men happily sacrificed their lives for the motherland. It is because of these sacrifices that we are able to experience the pride of freedom and democracy today.

The Chief Minister said that today's new generation was born and is growing up in independent India. Therefore, it is essential for them to understand how precious freedom is and the immense struggle our ancestors waged for it. Only by becoming familiar with the glorious stories of freedom fighters will this new generation be able to understand the true value of independence. He said that the tricolor reminds us of the sacrifices of all those known and unknown fighters who gave their all for the nation. It is our collective responsibility to pass on this glorious legacy of independence to the new generation. This will further strengthen the sense of duty, dedication, service, and nation first within the youth.

The brave sons of Chhattisgarh wrote a saga of bravery in the freedom struggle.
Chief Minister Shri Sai, while remembering the great heroes of Chhattisgarh's freedom struggle, said that the land of Chhattisgarh has also been the land of heroes, public leaders and martyrs. In the struggle for the country's independence, many brave sons of Chhattisgarh displayed indomitable courage and self-respect. Remembering martyr Veer Narayan Singh, the Chief Minister said that he raised his voice in the interest of the poor and needy in difficult circumstances and fought against the injustice of the British rule. His life tells us that along with patriotism, public service and the courage to stand against injustice is also a form of true patriotism.

Chief Minister Shri Sai, recalling the heroic saga of Bastar's great leader, Gundadhur, who ignited the struggle by organizing the tribal community against foreign rule. The land of Bastar has always fought to protect its self-respect, culture, and rights. Gundadhur's courage and leadership remain a source of pride and inspiration for the people of Chhattisgarh even today. He added that the struggles of martyr Veer Narayan Singh, Gundadhur, and many other known and unknown fighters of Chhattisgarh are an integral part of our glorious history. It is our responsibility to convey the saga of bravery of these great heroes to the new generation and to introduce the youth to their ideals.
The tricolor will fly with peace and development in a changing Bastar.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that today, leaving behind a long period of violence and fear, Bastar is rapidly moving forward in a new direction of peace, trust, and development. With the strong will of the double-engine government, the indomitable courage of the security forces, and the support of the people of the region, the fight against Naxalism has reached a decisive stage. He said that areas of Bastar, once shrouded in fear due to Naxalite violence, are now seeing a new light of development. With the expansion of roads, education, health, and other infrastructure, people's faith in governance and the democratic system has strengthened. The government is continuously working to connect the aspirations and dreams of the people of Bastar with the mainstream of development. The Chief Minister said that the changing Bastar is no longer identified with violence, but with peace, development, trust, and new possibilities. This year, the sacred festival of Independence Day will be celebrated with great enthusiasm and zeal in Bastar, and Tiranga Yatras will be organized. The tricolor will fly with pride even in the villages and remote areas of Bastar.

At many places, citizens showered flowers and greeted the participants. People were seen waving the tricolor from their homes and establishments, expressing their respect for the national flag. As the Yatra progressed, the enthusiasm of the citizens also increased. The atmosphere was filled with patriotic songs and chants of Bharat Mata ki Jai, Vande Mataram, and Jhanda Uncha Rahe Hamara. The tricolor flags waving in the hands of young people and the enthusiasm of school children made the entire event memorable.
From Balbir Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium to Subhash Stadium, the tricolor was visible everywhere. It seemed as if the entire capital had been draped in a sheet of three colors.
