Raipur, August 15, 2026: Around 850 school students gave presentations steeped in Chhattisgarh's folk art and culture at the state-level Independence Day celebrations held at the Police Parade Ground in Raipur, the capital. In the competition between these presentations, school students from Chhattisgarh's North Zone Surguja Division took first place, students from Chhattisgarh's West Zone Durg Division took second place, and students from the Central Zone Raipur Division took third place. The Chief Minister honored all the winners by presenting shields and medals.

286 school students from the Surguja division of Chhattisgarh's northern region gave a patriotic performance of remix songs like Vande Mataram, Jai Hind, we all have our pride… Through this dance and song, the students showcased the story of Vande Mataram's 150 years of austerity and endless love for the motherland. They also showcased India, fueled by youthful energy, reaching new heights in an engaging way.

277 students from the Western Region, Durg Division, presented a captivating dance performance to the song "Sajta, Sanvarta, Nikharta Ye Desh…" Through this dance and song, the audience was presented with a beautiful impression of dances performed on various occasions. Through this performance, the school children presented a glimpse of their patriotism by weaving their emotions into the rhythm and energy of their steps.

280 children from the Central Region of Raipur Division gave a captivating performance of the fusion song "Sankalp Bol Ke Hum To Nikal Pade…." Through this dance and song, the students brought to life the saga of the soldiers' bravery, their sacrifice, and their dedication.
