Raipur, November 2026/ During his visit to Jashpur today, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai flagged off the Digital Transforming Van at the Vishram Griha campus. This initiative, run by the NIIT Foundation in collaboration with Indus Towers, will expand digital education and skill development opportunities in rural and remote areas of the district. Through this initiative, rural children, youth, women, and other citizens will be connected to modern digital technology, making them technologically competent and self-reliant.
Chief Minister Shri Sai praised this initiative, stating that in today's era, digital literacy is not limited to technical knowledge alone; it has become the foundation for new opportunities in education, employment, self-employment, and self-reliance. Ensuring access to modern technology and digital education for citizens in rural and remote areas is crucial. He stated that such initiatives will play a vital role in connecting rural youth and women to the digital world and in their skill development.

He also participated in an online conference call using the digital equipment installed on the van. The Chief Minister praised this joint effort between NIIT Foundation and Indus Towers, calling it a commendable step towards digital empowerment in rural areas.
One month free digital training will be provided in the villages of Jashpur
The Digital Transformation Van will reach various villages in the Jashpur development block and provide free digital education and skills development training to citizens aged 12 to 60. A one-month special training program will be conducted, covering important topics such as digital literacy, cybersecurity, and basic IT.
The training will provide rural citizens with practical knowledge regarding the use of computers and digital devices, basic internet access, and the safe and effective use of digital technology. This will help increase digital awareness, develop technical skills, and bridge the digital divide in rural areas.
Important initiative to digitally empower rural areas
This Digital Transformation Van will serve as a mobile training center, reducing the need for rural citizens to travel to distant urban centers to access digital education. Rural children, youth, and women, in particular, will have the opportunity to receive modern technical training in their own neighborhoods.
