Raipur - Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai extends warm greetings to the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of Dhanteras. He stated that this festival marks the beginning of the five-day Diwali celebrations, during which people worship Kubera, the god of wealth, and Lord Dhanvantari, the god of health, seeking prosperity, abundance, and wellness.

The Chief Minister urged citizens to make Diwali celebrations meaningful for local potters, artisans, skilled workers, women’s self-help groups, and small businesses by choosing to buy diyas (earthen lamps) and other festive items from them. Wishing for joy and prosperity in everyone’s life, he expressed his hope that Dhanteras brings happiness and good health to all.
