Raipur :  Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has extended his greetings and best wishes to all members of the media fraternity on the occasion of National Press Day, observed on November 16. Shri Sai emphasized that freedom of expression is the cornerstone and hallmark of India’s democracy. 

In his message, Chief Minister Shri Sai highlighted that an impartial press and fearless journalism are vital for a healthy democracy. He said that the media plays a crucial role in educating citizens about their rights and responsibilities while fostering awareness of national and public interests. National Press Day serves as a reminder of the importance and contributions of an independent and unbiased press in a vibrant democracy like India.
