Ritika told that her father works as a laborer to earn his living and her mother is an Anganwadi assistant. He was interested in the game of badminton since childhood.With time, this hobby of hers turned into a passion and she became completely dedicated to this game. But the financial condition of the family was not such that he could hone his talent for big level tournaments.
Ritika told Chief Minister Shri Sai on video call that she has participated in Khelo-India University Level Games in Bangalore and recently in the National Tournament in Odisha. She wants to play at the national and international level and bring glory to the country by winning a medal in the Olympics.
