Modi meets Australian PM at G20
New Delhi . Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in South Africa to attend the G20 summit. PM Modi was given a grand welcome. Members of the Indian community met him on this occasion. South Africa's presidency of the G20 is special in many ways. In fact, India assumed the presidency of the G20 in 2023. It was under India's presidency that South Africa became a member of the G20. PM Modi interacted with the Indian community in South Africa. Youth welcomed PM Modi with Ganesha prayers, Shanti Mantras, and other spiritual prayers. A cultural program was also presented, showcasing folk dances from 11 Indian states.
In Johannesburg, PM Modi met with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. The two leaders discussed cooperation in various sectors, including defense, security, minerals, trade and investment.
