Four killed in road accident in Andhra Pradesh
Karnataka - One person was killed and five others injured when a helium gas cylinder exploded in Mysuru on Thursday, officials said.
The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. in front of the Jayamarthanda Gate of the city's Mysore Palace. The balloon seller, Salim, was 40 years old, the son of Khamaruddin, and a resident of Tofiya village in Kannauj district, Uttar Pradesh.
He died on the spot. According to officials, five other people present near the scene were also injured. The injured have been identified as Shahnaz Shabbir (54), Lakshmi (45), Kotresh Gutte (54), Manjula Nanjangud (29), and Ranjita (30). They have been hospitalized and are undergoing treatment. Police are investigating the incident.
