Raj BJP to launch ‘Jan Aakrosh Rath Yatra’ on Dec 1 in 200 assembly constituencies

To mark Congress’ four years of “misrule” in the state, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will launch ‘Jan Aakrosh Rath Yatra’ on December 1 in all 200 Assembly constituencies of Rajasthan.

According to Satish Poonia, state BJP chief, the yatra shall cover 75,000 km on 200 chariots in 200 assemblies and the party has also launched the theme song of Jan Aakrosh Yatra.

“During its rally, the party will also hold 20,000 chaupals and 20,000 nukkar meetings,” stated Poonia.

Poonia, while addressing a press conference on Sunday said that the chariots of the ‘Jan Aakrosh Yatra’ will be taken out by the state BJP in all 200 assembly constituencies against the “jungle rule, misrule and corruption” under the rule of the Congress government in the state.

State BJP National President J.P. Nadda will start the flagging off the yatra from Jaipur. On December 1, this Jan Aakrosh Yatra will be kicked off by the party’s National President J.P. Nadda from Jaipur with the departure of 51 chariots.

Overall, 200 chariots will travel through 200 assembly constituencies in the entire state.

Besides, the saffron party has released a missed call number (8140200200) for the general public, on which people would be able to register public outrage against the Congress government by giving a missed call.

Dr Poonia, National General Secretary and State Incharge Arun Singh, Leader of Opposition Gulab Chand Kataria, Deputy Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore, National Spokesperson Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, MP Kirodi Lal Meena, Ramcharan Bohra, State Chief Spokesperson Ramlal Sharma, General Secretary Bhajan Lal Sharma, State Vice President Chandrakanta Meghwal and District Chief Rama Devi Chopra were present in the press conference.

New delhi : A day after Aam Aadmi Party leader Sandeep Bhardwaj’s body was found hanging at his residence in the national capital, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Friday said it was wrong to allege the AAP leader took his life as he was denied a party ticket to contest the upcoming MCD polls.

Meanwhile, the BJP has alleged that Bhardwaj did not die by suicide but he was murdered.

Addressing a press conference here today, the Delhi deputy chief minister Sisodia said, “This is very sad. Sandeep ji was close to me too. He used to play a very important role in the trade wing. You cannot connect the death with ticket, it’s wrong.”

Sisodia was responding to a question that the AAP leader Bharadwaj committed suicide because he was denied ticket to contest the municipal corporation elections.

AAP’s trade wing secretary was found dead at his Rajouri Garden residence on Thursday, police said.

BJP leader Manoj Tiwari today alleged that Bhardwaj did not die by suicide.

“I believe it is not suicide but murder. Sandeep Bhardwaj was assured ticket. Evidence doesn’t make it look like suicide. It’s also coming to the knowledge that a ticket for that seat was sold. Abetting suicide is also like murder. AAP chief and leadership have committed sin,” said Tiwari.

Bhardwaj was taken to “Kukreja hospital” by one of his friends, Delhi Police said.

Delhi Police said that a PCR call was received from Kukreja Hospital, Rajouri Garden at 4.40 pm yesterday about 55 year-old Sandeep Bhardwaj being brought dead due to hanging at his residence.

A crime team reached the spot of the crime and inquest proceedings under section 174 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) were initiated.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal yesterday expressed grief over Bhardwaj’s death and offered his condolences.

“Extremely saddened by the sudden death of Aam Aadmi Party worker Sandeep Bhardwaj in Delhi. May God give his soul a place at his holy feet. My condolences to his family members in this hour of grief and the entire party stands with the family members of Sandeep ji in this difficult time,” tweeted CM Kejriwal.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today reiterated the state’s demand of refund of NPS amount, GST compensation and transferring of the amounts collected as 'additional levy' from coal block companies.

During the pre-budget meeting held at Manekshaw Centre here, the chief minister gave several proposals and suggestions regarding the General Budget 2023-24. The meeting, chaired by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, was attended by Finance Ministers of other states.

Demanding refund of NPS amount, the chief minister said that the state government has restored old pension scheme in Chhattisgarh for securing the future of government employees and their families. He added that Rs 17240 crore deposited with NSDL till March 31 should be returned so that it can be put in the General Provident Fund of the employees.

Mr. Baghel further informed the Union minister that the state government's share will be deposited in a separate pension fund, which will be used to meet pensionary obligations in future. Along with this, it will be invested in Government of India and State Government securities.

The Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh had requested to continue the system of GST compensation grant for the next five years after June 2022, but it was not increased. He demanded an amount of 1875 crores for GST compensation.

He also urged to transfer the coal royalty amount of Rs 4140 crore to the state at the earliest.

At the same time, he requested to release the amount of 1288 crores spent on central security forces and 313 crores spent by the state government on 4 special and Indian defense forces deployed in the state.

Reffering that the year 2023 has also been declared by the United Nations as the 'International Year of Millet', the chief minister said that Kodo, Kutki and Ragi (Millets) are mainly cultivated in Chhattisgarh and urged the Center to declare minimum support price for Kodo and Kutki crops to promote Millets crops.

He also demanded setting up of marketing centers on the lines of C-Mart so that agriculture, handicrafts and minor forest produce products could be promoted.

The Chief Minister also gave suggestions in the meeting regarding revision of royalty rates of major minerals, incentive grants to states with better financial management, continuation of special assistance scheme, starting of International Cargo Terminal in Raipur, increase in central schemes.

Discussion was also held on the need for paddy and gunny bags

The Chief Minister said that in the year 2022-23, a target has been given to supply 57 lakh metric tonnes of Arva and 4 lakh metric tonnes of parboiled rice in the central pool and also requested the Central Government to increase the target of procurement of par-boiled rice to 14 lakh metric tonnes. Along with this, he also demanded to ensure availability of new jute gunny bags to the state.

New Delhi, Nov 24 (PTI) Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Thursday hit back at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his attack on the party during the campaign in Gujarat, saying that instead of cursing the Congress, he should speak about the BJP's "misrule" in the state.

Prime Minister Modi on Wednesday had sought to corner the Congress for not supporting a tribal woman, Droupadi Murmu, in the presidential poll. He had also lashed out at the opposition party, accusing it of engaging in vote bank politics, nepotism, sectarianism and supporting "anti-social elements" during its rule in Gujarat.

Hitting back at the PM, Kharge said in a tweet in Hindi, "Narendra Modi ji, instead of cursing the Congress, speak on the misrule of the BJP!" "Why was the future of the children of Gujarat spoiled? Why Gujarat ranks 29th among 30 states in malnourished, underweight children? Why is it at 19th place in infant mortality rate?" he said.

Mandya, : On Wednesday, Karnataka police detained a man on suspicion of creating pornographic movies of a young girl, blackmailing her, and raping her.

Yunus Pasha, 25, has been identified as the person who was arrested.

Yunus Pasha, a married man, allegedly made friends with the young girl and gave her a cell phone.

Later, he had begun speaking with her on the phone, taking private pictures of her, and recording their video talks. The accused took advantage of their friendship and entered the girl's home while she was alone with her grandma.

He demanded that she give her grandmother sleeping drugs or he would threaten to post her personal videos and images on social media. The accused sexually assaulted the victim when she dozed off.

The girl's parents noticed peculiar behaviour when they got home. The young girl sobbed and described her experience when they interrogated her.

They eventually reported this to the police.

Outgoing corporator Praveen Kumar is again AAP's candidate from this ward. BJP has fielded Ajit Singh and Congress has fielded Amar Tiwari. There are about 68,000 voters in this ward.

According to Altaf, he is getting support from all sections of the society. Apart from his own caste, he has full support from people of other societies.

Ashok Agyani, head of the Delhi Democratic Alliance, who is commanding the campaign in support of them, said that people are angry with all the party candidates in this ward. They did not do any work.

Mr. Agyani said that his candidate has been associated with social service in the area for a long time. He is young and hardworking. He has the full support of the Valmiki Samaj of the area, whose strength is 35 percent.

On the ocassion of the State day,a cultural evening was organized in India International Trade Fair in the country's capital Delhi,the folk artists of Chhattisgarh won the hearts of the spectators with their enticing perfomances. The cultural evening took place in Pragati Maidan's amphitheatre which witnessed glimpses of Chhattisgarh's vibrant culture through numerous folk dances.

The program was inaugurated by Food and Culture Minister of Chhattisgarh Mr. Amarjit Bhagat after he visited the Chhattisgarh Pavilion, and observed different stalls and took information from the artists and encouraged them. He also said "if our culture is destroyed, then our identity will also be destroyed. That's why we need to preserve our culture even amidst the changing environment and adverse circumstances. This type of event has an important contribution in the preservation of culture and folk art."

The audience also encouraged the artists by clapping and cheering in unison. Artists from Chhattisgarh presented dances that are typically performed on various festivals in Chhattisgarh. Food and Culture Minister Mr. Amarjit Bhagat also could not resist himself , after reaching the stage, he also played the mandar along with the artists.

The artists of Lok Ragni Dal from Bhilai, started the dance by worshiping the goddess, in which the massacre of the demon by the goddess was depicted . Women artists presented the well known Sua and Bhokali folk dance of Chhattisgarh.

The Sua dance is basically a dance performed by women and adolescent girls. In this dance women carry a Sua (clay parrot) in a basket and dance around it and sing Sua songs.Clapping is done with hand or with a piece of wood. At the end of this dance, Shiva Gauri marriage takes place. After which Gedi dance was performed. It is a male-dominated dance, in which men dance with great speed and skill while maintaining physical balance on the gedi. This dance displays the physical skill and balance.

Tribals of Bastar also gave a presentation of the Parab dance which is performed by the Dhurwa tribe living in Bastar. This dance is called Sainik Nritya, because the dancers carry the ax and sword, the symbols of valour, during the dance. This dance is organized on the occasion of Madai.

After this, the Gaur dance was performed by the Maria tribe of Bastar which is typically performed in the Jatra festival. In this dance, the young man wears a Gaur's horn on his head by making a crown by decorating it with shells. Hence this dance is also called Gaur Nitya. Only men participate in this dance. The only instrument played by women is called Tirtuddi.

Along with this, the artists presented the traditional dance of Karma. This is done to please Karma Dev,people wear traditional costumes and dance and sing Chhattisgarhi songs.

In the end, the artists of Upkar Panthi dance team conveyed the messages of Guru Ghasidas to the people through dance. This dance is a combination of several steps and patterns. This dance is not only one of the most important forms of folk dance of the region, but is also considered a major custom or ceremony of the Satnami community of Chhattisgarh. This dance is often performed by the community during the celebration of the birth anniversary of Guru Ghasidas which occurs on Magha Purnima.

On this occasion, Vivek Acharya, Director, Culture Department, Himshikhar Gupta, Special Secretary, Industries Department, Yogendra Tripathi, Culture Council, Rajendra Tiwari, Chairman, Khadi Village Industry, Arun Prasad, Managing Director, CSIDC, Shyam Sundar Bajaj, Managing Director, Minor Forest Produce Association, Residential Commissioner Mr. Ajit Vasant and other officers were present.

Independent candidates undertook disciplinary action and were suspended by the (BJP)

Gandhinagar : After being denied tickets by the saffron party, seven party leaders who filed nominations as independent candidates undertook disciplinary action and were suspended by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

The seven candidates were all vying for seats in the Gujarat Assembly election's preliminary round.

According to a BJP statement citing the party's state president CR Paatil, "These MLAs have been suspended for six years for having engaged in anti-party actions."

Among the suspended BJP leaders is Harshad Vasava from Nandod in the Narmada district. Arvind Ladani, who was looking to purchase a ticket from Keshod Junagadh, has also been put on hold. In addition to Karan Bhai Baraiya, who was seeking a ticket from Amreli's Rajula, Chattrasingh Gunjaria from Dhangadra in Surendranagar, Ketan Bhai Patel from Paradi in Valsad, Bharat Bhai Chavda from rural Rajkot, Uday Bhai Shah from Veraval in Gir Somnath district, and Ketan Bhai Shah from Rajkot.

42 current MLAs have been rejected tickets by the BJP, which is running for its eighth term in office in Gujarat. 38 sitting MLAs were ousted by the saffron party after it declared its significant first chunk of 160 candidates. Several prominent members of the party, including former chief minister Vijay Rupani and deputy chief minister Nitin Patel, were refused seats.

The BJP won 99 of the 182 seats in the 2017 Gujarat elections. With Narendra Modi serving as the state's chief minister for the greatest period of time before being elected prime minister in 2014, the party has been in power for the past 27 years.

Srinagar : Security agencies have discovered that Mukhtar Baba, a former Kashmiri journalist, is responsible for the recent terrorist threats against local journalists.

Security agencies discovered that former journalist, Mukhtar Baba is the mastermind behind putting out the list of journalists accusing them of being informers for the security forces after resignations by five Kashmiri journalists over the anonymous online threats to over a dozen of them.

Following the release of the list of more than a dozen Kashmiri journalists who were allegedly working for the security forces or intelligence agencies, the J&K police filed a FIR under the UAPA (Unlawful Activities Prevention Act) and investigations were started.

According to police sources, intelligence analysis based on inputs from Central Intelligence Agencies suggests that Mukhtar Baba frequently travels to Pakistan from Turkey and is responsible for spreading false information and preparing young people in the Valley for terrorism under the guise of The Resistance Front (TRF), a Lashkar-e-Taiba offshoot (LeT).

"Sajjad Gul, a native of Srinagar, is one of the TRF's key operatives and is involved in making threats. Six people who are in touch with Baba and giving him information have been identified by the agency.

"On the basis of impartial evidence, the agencies have identified more than six people, including four journalists and two government workers. In order to provide an effective response to the challenge, they have suggested a mission-based approach to identify these elements, collect evidence by mapping their properties, their use of telecommunications, and their travel both domestically and abroad, according to sources.

Before fleeing to Turkey, Mukhtar Baba, who was formerly a resident of Srinagar's central business district, moved to the Nowgam neighbourhood. His network of insider informants includes journalists, and it is on their advice that he compiled the most recent threat list.

He continued to be associated with the terrorist group Hizbullah in the 1990s, but was expelled from the group when it was discovered that he had been involved in the sale of AK-47 rifles to a rival terrorist group.

The intelligence agencies' dossier on Mukhtar Baba states, "Thereafter, he remained associated with Masrat Alam's Muslim League and is notorious for his coercive means to compel journalists and media outlets in the Valley to toe Pakistani and terrorist line in reporting and opinions.

According to sources, he has always maintained ties to Pakistani intelligence services while participating in a number of secessionist organisations in Srinagar. Additionally active on social media, Baba has made a concerted effort to advance the narrative at the urging of adversarial foreign agencies.

Mukhtar Baba, 55, is well-versed in Kashmir's media landscape having previously worked as a journalist for four Valley-based media outlets. He spent a significant amount of time in 1990 incarcerated in Jammu's Kot Bhalwal Jail.

According to sources, Mukhtar Baba was sent to Turkey at some point in 2018 by Jodha Carin Fischer, an American with German ancestry who worked as a deep penetration ISI agent in Jammu and Kashmir for almost eight years before her cover was blown and she was forcibly deported out.

On November 12, the Srinagar Police announced the filing of a case against the handlers, active terrorists, and on-the-ground workers (OGWs) of the terrorist group LeT and its offshoot TRF for the online publication and distribution of a letter making direct threats against Kashmir-based journalists and reporters. The FIR was filed at Shergari Police Station under sections 13 of the UAPA and 505, 153B, 124A, and 506 of the IPC.

Bengaluru (agency ): With the submission of a PIL by Bajarang Dal to the High Court requesting that it be removed, the Jamia Mosque dispute in Karnataka has gained attention. According to the PIL, there is evidence that the mosque once served as a Hindu temple.

The Jamia Mosque of historic Srirangapatna town in Mandya district contains remnants of Hindu gods and temple architecture; as a result, the mosque should be immediately demolished and Hindu devotees should be permitted to take a bath in the kalyani (traditional water body) situated on the mosque's grounds, according to the petition.

Further demands from Bajrang Dal activists include a resurvey of the mosque along the lines of the Gyanwapi Masjid. Manjunath, the state president of the Bajrang Dal, filed the PIL on Wednesday. 108 Hanuman devotees, including Manjunath, have petitioned.

According to Bajrang Dal sources, 108 is a lucky number in Hindu tradition, so 108 devotees have formed parties.

The Mysore Gazetteer, Hindu mosque architecture, Hindu idol inscriptions, a sacred water body, and references from British officers are additional pieces of evidence that the Bajrang Dal activists have presented to the court.

Hindutva organisations had previously asked the authorities for permission to hold prayers in the mosque. The subject had gained a lot of attention in the state.

The Jamia mosque's administrators have already requested protection for the building from Hindu activists on several occasions.

Masjid-i-Ala, also known as Jamia Masjid, is situated inside the Srirangapatna fort. During Tipu's reign, in 1786–1787, it was constructed. Three inscriptions in the mosque list nine different names of the Prophet Muhammad.

In their submissions to the authorities for a survey of the mosque, Narendra Modi Vichar Manch stated their strong conviction—supported by documentation—that the Jamia Masjid was constructed following the destruction of the Hanuman Temple.

As the India International Trade fair enters its second day, Chhattisgarh Pavilion in Pragati Maidan is witnessing a surge in footfall of businesspersons and executives. Through two live demonstration stalls of Godna painting and Bell metal craft of Chhattisgarh set up at the pavilion, the craftsmen are getting an opportunity to showcase their talent and attract the traders. Chhattisgarh Industries department Special Secretary Him Shikhar Gupta, IAS visited the Pavilion and inspected the stalls. He appreciated the efforts made by the craftsmen and encouraged them.The Trade Fair will be open to the general public on November 19. At present it is only open for Business to Business Trade.

New Delhi, Nov 15 (PTI) As the police probe a multitude of factors that pushed Aaftab Poonawala to allegedly butcher his live-in partner into 35 pieces, experts agree on a few reasons, including lack of communication and low anger threshold, behind such violent crimes.

The 28-year-old accused, a trained chef, evaded detection for six months, was arrested early Saturday after details of the killing and its grisly aftermath came to light during his interrogation.

Poonawala allegedly strangled Shradaha Walkar in May and sawed her body into 35 pieces which he kept in a 300-litre fridge for almost three weeks at his residence in South Delhi's Mehrauli before dumping them across the city over several days.

Maoists Call For Bandh In Koraput, Malkangiri To Protest Against ‘Fake’ Encounter

Koraput: The Maoists today claimed that the two persons, who were killed in police encounter in Malipadar forests under Boipariguda block of Koraput district on November 10, had no links with the Left Wing Extremism (LWE).

Deceased Dhana Khamar of Sargiguda village under Malkangiri police limits and Jaya Kumar Nag of Nuagada village under Kosagumuda police limits in Nabarangpur district were labourers and the duo was no way related to the LWE, said the Malkangiri-Koraput Border Division of Maoists in a press statement and audio message today.

The Maoists have called for a bandh in Malkangiri and Koraput districts on November 18 to protest against the fake encounter.

“The police have killed two labourers in a fake encounter in Malipadar forests. There must be a judicial probe into the incident,” said the Maoists.

Earlier, hundreds of villagers, including the family members of Khamar, had blocked NH-326 near Kotameta demanding a compensation of Rs 30 lakh to his family.

They claimed that Khamar was a labourer and he was travelling to Kotpad through Malipadar forests on November 10. The police force killed him by branding him as a Maoist.

The road blockade disrupted traffic between Malkangiri and Jeypore. Vehicular traffic was restored on the road after police detained the agitators, sources said.

Outgoing corporator Praveen Kumar is again AAP's candidate from this ward. BJP has fielded Ajit Singh and Congress has fielded Amar Tiwari. There are about 68,000 voters in this ward.

According to Altaf, he is getting support from all sections of the society. Apart from his own caste, he has full support from people of other societies.

Ashok Agyani, head of the Delhi Democratic Alliance, who is commanding the campaign in support of them, said that people are angry with all the party candidates in this ward. They did not do any work.

Mr. Agyani said that his candidate has been associated with social service in the area for a long time. He is young and hardworking. He has the full support of the Valmiki Samaj of the area, whose strength is 35 percent.
