Raipur : North-East Delhi Lok Sabha MP Manoj Tiwari paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai at his residential office today.On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai extended a warm welcome to Shri Tiwari by garlanding him with a traditional shawl and presenting him a statue of Nandi made from the unique bell metal art of Chhattisgarh.
During the meeting, Chief Minister Shri Sai and MP Shri Manoj Tiwari discussed in detail on various topics including folk art, folk culture of Chhattisgarh and the emerging film industry in the state.Chief Minister Shri Sai informed Shri Tiwari about the efforts being made by the state government to preserve and promote folk art and to encourage film production. He also informed about the steps being taken towards the establishment of a film city in the state.
MP Manoj Tiwari praised the efforts made by Chief Minister Shri Sai to preserve the cultural heritage of Chhattisgarh and promote the film industry.He also praised the work being done by the state government towards establishing the cultural diversity and folk heritage of the state on the national stage.
