Police personnel, Anganwadi workers and girl students were honored on the 15th foundation day of Chhattisgarh State Child Rights Protection Commission: Chief Minister launched the Sarthak and Rakshak Abhiyan, to create awareness about child rights

Raipur, 17 June 2025/Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai launched the Sarthak and Rakshak campaign to create awareness about child rights on the occasion of the 15th Foundation Day celebrations of Chhattisgarh State Child Rights Protection Commission.On this occasion, while addressing the program organized at Pandit Deendayal Auditorium in the capital Raipur, he said that the State Child Rights Protection Commission has an important role in raising awareness about child rights in the remote areas of the state.

He said that new campaigns like Saarthak and Rakshak will prove effective in creating awareness among the people about the rights of children. 

Chief Minister Shri Sai while addressing the programme said that a strong society can be built only through education.In the remote areas of Chhattisgarh state, especially in the Bastar and Surguja divisions, children at an early age migrate to other cities in search of work but due to lack of information they often become victims of exploitation.It is the responsibility of the commission to identify such children and provide them benefits of government schemes by linking them to employment. He said that our government is running many schemes focused on children and youth.Our government is providing facilities of schools, colleges and coaching in every village. Along with this, more and more facilities are being provided to the students through initiatives like Prayas in the field of education, Nalanda campus and Tribal Youth Hostel in Delhi.
