Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai attended the annual convention of the All India Kanwar Samaj held in Boiradadar, Raigarh, today as the chief guest. Responding to the community's demand, Chief Minister Shri Sai inaugurated the first floor of the community hall, constructed at a cost of Rs 30 lakh. Senior members of the community extended a grand welcome and felicitation to the Chief Minister, following traditional customs.

Chief Minister Shri Sai, while paying homage to the leaders of the Kanwar community, stated that social development is possible only through education. He emphasized that education is not only a means to employment, but also a means to success in various fields. Educating every son and daughter will strengthen society. He stated that the Chhattisgarh government is committed to the upliftment and welfare of the tribal community. The government is implementing various schemes for the development of tribal communities and their areas, and people are benefiting from them. He also urged everyone to take maximum advantage of the government's public welfare schemes. 

Chief Minister Shri Sai, recalling the contribution of tribal communities to the freedom struggle, said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has elevated the tribal community's prestige to new heights by declaring November 15th, the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda, as Tribal Pride Day. He explained that to integrate tribal communities into the mainstream, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has launched the Dharti Aba Gram Utkarsh and PM Janman programs. This is the largest campaign in the field of tribal welfare since independence. He said that through these schemes, all types of basic amenities are being made available to tribal families. These schemes are accelerating development in tribal areas.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated the Martyr Veer Narayan Singh Tribal Freedom Fighter Memorial and Museum in Raipur on the occasion of Chhattisgarh's Silver Jubilee celebrations. The museum vividly showcases the contributions of Chhattisgarh's brave freedom fighters to the nation. It will continue to acquaint future generations with the valor and sacrifice of our brave heroes. This is also a matter of pride for our tribal community. 

On the completion of 25 years of Chhattisgarh's formation, Chief Minister Shri Sai paid tribute to former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, mentioning the state's development—the extensive expansion of the PDS system, roads, electricity, water, education, and health. The Chief Minister said that after the formation of the state, access roads and the light of development have reached every village. Naxalism has been the biggest obstacle to development in the state, but due to the efforts of the government, it is breathing its last. He said that the Central Government has set a target of eliminating Naxalism by March 31, 2026. 

Referring to the state's new industrial policy, the Chief Minister said that investment proposals worth over ₹8 lakh crore have been received under it. We are striving to connect youth with employment and self-employment through industries. Additionally, our government is implementing various schemes to strengthen all communities in the state, and everyone should take advantage of these. 

The Chief Minister made several important announcements on the occasion, including construction of another cultural building for the Kanwar community at Boiradadar Raigarh along with a CC road up to the main road, a new community building at Turtura in Lalunga, and expansion of the community buildings constructed at Lalunga and Gharghodha.  

Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai's wife Smt. Kaushalya Sai, Lok Sabha MP Radheshyam Rathiya, Rajya Sabha MP Devendra Pratap Singh, Mayor Jivdhardhan Chauhan, District Panchayat Vice President Deepak Sidar, Shri Bharat Sai, Shri Satyanand Rathiya, Shri Anantram Pankra and other dignitaries were present in the program.
