Raipur. Chhattisgarh Government, Water Resources Department has approved Rs 1 crore 57 lakh 74 thousand for the renovation work of the dam and canal of Singhat Reservoir Scheme of Development Block-Khadgawan of Korea district. On completion of the proposed works of the irrigation scheme, complete irrigation facility will be available along with fulfilling the shortage of 31 hectares area against the irrigation capacity of 53 hectares. Administrative approval has been given to Chief Engineer Hasdeo Ganga Floodplain Water Resources Department Ambikapur from Water Resources Department Ministry Mahanadi Bhawan to carry out the work of the irrigation scheme.
