Minister Rajwada performed the ground breaking ceremony for development works worth over Rs 157 lakh.
Raipur. Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade today participated in groundbreaking ceremonies for development projects being held in various villages of Surajpur district under the Chief Minister's Gram Gaurav Path Yojana. During the ceremony, she laid the foundation stone for construction projects totaling ₹157.34 lakh approved to strengthen rural infrastructure.
Minister Smt. Rajwade performed the formal ground breaking ceremony for the construction of CC road and drain at village Kaskela at a cost of Rs 26.05 lakh, road construction at village Silfili at a cost of Rs 76.74 lakh, CC road and drain construction at village Ganeshpur at a cost of Rs 37.48 lakh and CC road and drain construction at village Karampur at a cost of Rs 17.07 lakh.
On this occasion, Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade said that the Chief Minister's Gram Gaurav Path Yojana is an important scheme that will give new impetus to the development of rural areas. Through this, roads, drains and other basic facilities are being rapidly expanded, which will not only facilitate transportation but will also significantly improve cleanliness and living standards in villages. She said that the state government is continuously moving forward by giving priority to public welfare development works and the goal of empowering every village with better facilities will be achieved soon. Sarpanchs of all Gram Panchayats, public representatives and villagers were present in the program.
